Sign up for Touchless ID to breeze through security
Eligible SkyMiles Members can breeze through airport checkpoints with TSA PreCheck® Touchless ID, a secure, biometric technology that speeds up the security screening process. By verifying your identity with facial recognition, Touchless ID eliminates the need to show a physical ID or boarding pass, saving you valuable time.
To take advantage of this game-changing feature, make sure you’ve enrolled in TSA PreCheck, have uploaded and verified your passport to your SkyMiles Profile, and are logged into the app, where you can display Touchless ID at the security checkpoint (opt in prior to your trip on Delta.com).
Touchless ID is available at most Delta hubs and will be coming to the remaining hubs by end of 2025; check availability here.
Easily track your Status (and Delta Sky Club visits)
The app makes it easy to stay on top of your SkyMiles journey as your go-to tool for tracking Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs), miles earned and progress toward achieving the next Medallion Tier. Whether you’re checking how close you are to Platinum Medallion Status or reviewing recent flight activity, the app makes it simple to monitor your loyalty benefits, all in one place.
Plus – customers with Delta Sky Club access credentials can now track their visits for the year, helping them stay informed about lounge access and usage – AND track spend toward unlimited visits for the following year. Delta SkyMiles Reserve Card Members, you can track your Delta Sky Club Guest Passes in the app, too – check your vouchers under “My Wallet.”
Did you know? Delta is keeping things steady for SkyMiles Members in 2026: Medallion Qualification Dollar (MQD) thresholds will remain unchanged for earning status in 2027. That means the current benchmarks—$5,000 for Silver, $10,000 for Gold, $15,000 for Platinum, and $28,000 for Diamond—are here for another year.
