Sharing in our Success

Delta employees received $1.4 billion as their share of the airline’s 2024 profits, a reminder that people are fundamental to Delta's culture as the airline celebrates its centennial anniversary. On the company’s Profit Sharing Day, eligible employees across Delta received an estimated payout of 10% of their eligible earnings, representing an average five weeks in additional pay.

Delta’s mission to connect the world starts with our commitment to being a strong partner to the communities where our employees live, work and serve. Delta invests its time and resources to care for the planet and the people within it. In 2025 and for the 8th straight year, Delta was once again named an honoree of The Civic 50 by Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service.

Partners since 1941

The American Red Cross

Delta’s longest-standing nonprofit partner is the American Red Cross, a partnership that began in 1941 during WWII when Delta collected blood for the war effort. Delta is now the largest corporate blood drive sponsor with the American Red Cross for seven years running, generating 15,000+ units of blood in 2024 (FYE 6/30). In 2025, Delta contributed $1 million to the Red Cross to support their efforts toward aiding victims of the devastating wildfires that affected California.

Troops & Veterans

Delta’s commitment to our troops and veterans is part of our history, and it is why active-duty members of U.S. armed forces are given priority boarding on every Delta flight. Delta also honors our dedicated Armed Service Members and Veterans through national sponsorships and employee engagement throughout the year by supporting important organizations.
