Giving back has been core to Delta's culture for nearly 100 years. Here are some of the ways Delta and its people gave back to communities across the world in 2024.
Delta’s mission to connect the world starts with our commitment to being a strong partner to the communities where we live, work and serve. We connect people to places — and their potential. As a company driven by purpose, giving back has been core to our culture for nearly 100 years, and that rang true in 2024 when Delta Air Lines and The Delta Air Lines Foundation contributed $63 million to communities around the globe through charitable giving.
While focusing on the pillars of Environment, Equity, Education, and Entire Wellness, we invest our time and resources to care for the planet and the people within it. The impact Delta makes annually is not possible without the 100,000 Delta employees who selflessly give of their time, talent and energy in service to others.
"The Delta Difference is proven through our people. Delta people want to roll up their sleeves and help those in need. Whether through giving blood, packing meal kits for school-aged children, giving the gift of play equity through a new playground, flying World War II Veterans back to Normandy for the 80th anniversary of D-Day, or building a home from the ground up that will be in a family for generations—Delta people care, and it shows," said Tad Hutcheson, Managing Director of Community Engagement.
