Delta Air Lines will introduce new flights and targeted capacity upgrades across the network, aligned to marquee pro football games throughout the season.

Football fans, it’s time to plan your away game strategy. This pro football season, Delta is adding flights and upgrading aircraft on key routes tied to some of the league’s most exciting matchups to give customers more ways to show up for kickoff. 

“Football season brings incredible energy and passion, and we know our customers want to be there in person for the biggest moments,” said Amy Martin, Vice President - Network Planning. “By adding flights to Delta’s already robust network and increasing capacity around key matchups throughout the season, we’re making it easier and more convenient for fans to support their teams on the road.” 

From September through January, Delta’s schedule enhancements are timed around high-demand game weekends, with service operating in the days leading up to and following each matchup.

Delta will introduce new flights and targeted capacity upgrades across the network, aligned to marquee games throughout the season.

New flights added on routes including: 

• Buffalo–Miami  

• Atlanta–Green Bay  

• Minneapolis–Tampa and Minneapolis–New Orleans 

• Cincinnati–Miami 

• Buffalo–Las Vegas 

• Boston–Buffalo and Boston–Green Bay 

• Milwaukee–New Orleans 

• Buffalo–Green Bay 

• Minneapolis–Mexico City 

Additional service timing aligned to high-demand weekends, including repeat service in key markets such as Boston–Buffalo, Atlanta–Green Bay and Detroit–Green Bay .

Aircraft upgrades on select routes, including: 

• Atlanta–Pittsburgh 

• Boston–Jacksonville 

• Charlotte–Detroit 

• Detroit–Green Bay and Minneapolis–Green Bay 

• Dallas/Fort Worth–Detroit and Dallas/Fort Worth–Minneapolis

Game-Day energy goes global with Delta's added Europe flights

Delta Air Lines will operate four additional round-trip flights between the U.S. and Europe to support customers traveling to Madrid and Munich for two major international professional football games taking place in November.
